School Projects

Making music is fun, creative, emotive and pure joy!

Rehearsals are all about communicating and listening. Preparation is a key ingredient. The kids learn to manage their time and practice schedules. They develop resilience and perseverance as they face challenges, pushing through setbacks to improve.

Most importantly however: Each performance fosters a sense of pride in their achievements, boosting their confidence and instilling a deep sense of accomplishment and unity.

For these young musicians, the music is a language of expression, connection, and growth that resonates far beyond the classroom.

LEF Summer concerts offer the opportunity for the children to join a big concert event and present what they have been working on with Darren during their workshops throughout the year.

In June, St John’s and Nazareth House primary schools join us for our Midsummer Finale to sing Friday Afternoons Op.7, the song cycle for children by Benjamin Britten which this year celebrates its 90th anniversary of composition.
